Given that today is International Star Wars Day I figured it would be a good opportunity to post about some of the movie monsters of the Star Wars Universe.
The Rancor
The Rancor is basically Jabba the Hutt's pet in Return of the Jedi. It lives in the basement feeding on Jabba's enemies and servants he gets bored of, such as the dancer Oola.
The Sarlacc Pit
Another of Jabba's pets, the Sarlacc pit is a camouflaged hole full of teeth that can take thousands of years to digest a single morsal!
The Wampa
The Wampa is a creature similar to a giant, vicious Polar Bear that lives on the ice planet of Hoth. According to Wookiepedia their diet consists mostly of Tantuns.
