Finally have my Birthday present from Kev :)
It's a Bronze Octopus hair fork, handmade by BronzeSmith on Etsy.
It was held to ransom by customs so it ended up costing £11 more than we thought it would, but it's a very lovely piece, and seems to hold a bun well so I'm pretty happy with it :)
