The trip to the mountains

After our trip to the salt lake we took a jeep tour of the desert

We saw many sand dunes 

and listened to a mixture of Tunisian music and Bob Marley on the car radio!

It had rained the previous week 

so there was a little water around in some places

In the distance you can see the mountains 

We climbed them later in the day

In some places the rain had already died up leaving behind crackled patterns of dried mud

Some grazing camels

An Oasis

At the bottom of the mountains
