Lolita 52 Challenge - Week 17 - My first meetup

I have no pictures from it (because I'm made of fail sometimes), but my very first meet as a few years ago at Whitby Goth Weekend. There were just a few of us in Sherlock's tea rooms and it was a nice little experience. 

Lolita 52 Challenge - Week 15 - 3 things I wish I was told when I was a new Lolita

1. Lolitas are not all bitches.

2. No matter how much you think someone is your friend, when they lie about you, steal from you and then drop you over the internet drama that they caused for you, they are not your friend.

3. You can rise above that drama, and just like you wanted, dress in pretty clothes and visit tea shops with like-minded people.

Today I went to my first Lolita meet in a few years, and had a lot of fun doing so :)

Magical colour changing tea! It starts out blue...

We went to Tea Sutra Teahouse which is a tea house in Newcastle that has over 100 different blends of tea!

I had a Butterfly Blue Pea tea made from dried blue anthocyanins, which had a very sweet almost honey like taste, and was very refreshing. It was also a little magical, in that if you pour it over a slice of lemon...

It turns purple!

Leia had a pot of flowering tea. This tea was served in a clear teapot, and at first there was just a small green bundle in it, but over a few minutes it opened out into a large flower!

Afterwards we went to Leaze's Park and took some photos of our outfits!
