It's no secret that I like food, I like how it tastes, I like the textures and I like how cookery is just another art form.
On Friday I went to my local Asian Supermarket, and some of the things I bought were Tofu, Soy Sauce and a packet of Chicken and Shallot flavoured Ramen noodles.
This is what I made for lunch (serves two, or one very hungry person) :D

Ingredients
1 small block of firm Tofu (I used storebrand, but it was about the same size as a block of Silken Tofu)
1 Standard sized packet of Chicken flavoured Ramen (please check the ingredients if you're vegetarian/vegan as they aren't all animal free)
Soy Sauce to taste
Half a small onion roughly chopped
Four medium mushrooms roughly chopped
A small tomato cut into six pieces
Method
First empty the chicken flavour powder, and the sauce sachet (if you have one) into a container, you may need to add a few tablespoons of boiled water if your sauce is more of a paste.
Add soy to taste, hopefully this should cover the bottom of your container, if not add a little more water.
Next take your Tofu block, cut it into four even pieces. Prick them all over with a fork and then place into the chicken soy mix you just made.
Leave your tofu to soak for at least an hour (the longer you leave it the better it tastes though really).
When your tofu is almost ready, lightly fry the onion and mushrooms (leave the tomato for now) in a little oil.
Bake the tofu on a tray in an oven on a medium heat until it is cooked through.
When the onions go slightly see through add in the noodles and tomato and then cover with boiling water.
You may want to add a dash of soy for flavour since you used the seasoning to flavour the tofu.
Cook on a medium heat until the noodles are, well "noodley" as opposed to a solid mass and the tomatoes are poached.
Pour the noodles and broth into bowls, and place two peices of tofu on the top of each.
Chopsticks are optional :)
